Cala en Porter

Post Creator

it’s a fantastic spot on the island that you really must visit! This white sandy beach with turquoise blue water makes Cala en Porter a true paradise! The quality of this beach has led to urbanization practically springing up around it. Here you can visit one of the best spots on the island:

Cova d’en Xoroi – At the tip of the hill is situated the famous Cova d’en Xoroi – a wonderful bar inside the cliff caves. It is a very relaxed and inspiring place, especially at sunset. It has live music and an absolutely unforgettable view of the island of Menorca. It’s a perfect spot to end your day in an incredible atmosphere with ambient music (live), stunning views, and sunset never seen before! It is simply perfect. Enjoy the place, dance, relax and take lots of photos!

Son Bou Beach

This beach is the longest on the coast. It has a long carpet of fine white area, great for strolling along the seafront. It is also a prime spot for water sports such as windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling.

  • Cala Galdana Beach
  • Cala Macarella Beach
  • Macarelleta Beach
  • Cala en Turquesa Beach

All these beaches are formed by small coves with turquoise blue waters! The clarity and temperature of the sea are unbelievable. If you like physical activity, know that there are small trails that you can walk to the nearest beaches of Cala Galdana. The route is all through the middle of nature, so it couldn’t be more relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re staying at Cala Galdana these trails are perfect!

Punta Prima

Punta Prima is located in the southeast of the island 10 km from Maó. As the island is small you can quickly get around all the beautiful spots. In the center of the area, there are many restaurants, bars, and outdoor play areas for children. Although it is small, it is worth visiting.

Things to do in Punta Prima:

Punta Prima beach – if you arrive in Menorca via Maó, at Punta Prima you will start to get to know a little of the idyllic beaches around here. The clear turquoise blue waters are a real delight and will be sorely missed!

Cala’n Bosch

Cala’n Bosch is one of the closest calas of Ciutadella and is located southwest of Menorca. It is fully urbanized, but the sand and its crystal clear waters are incredible. It is a very beautiful cala and a good area for those who spend a few days in Menorca.
